We are an Australian-based manufacturer specialising in premium engine mounts, Transmission crossmember and transmission mounts. Backed by a commitment to quality engineering and customer satisfaction, our products are built to perform and made to last.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, your purchase of Tuff Mounts products, and your interaction with our authorised dealer network. They are designed to set clear expectations, outline customer rights and responsibilities, and protect the integrity of our business. By accessing this site or placing an order, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions as outlined.

For clarity within these Terms & Conditions, the following terms are defined as follows:

5. Custom Orders Policy
Custom-made orders are crafted specifically to meet individual specifications and requirements. As such, Tuff Mounts does not offer refunds or exchanges for any custom items once production has commenced or the item has been delivered.
Customers are strongly advised to review all specifications and confirm accuracy before placing a custom order. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
Custom orders are final and non-refundable, except in cases of proven manufacturing defects, which will be handled in accordance with our warranty policy.
6. Pricing
All prices listed on the Tuff Mounts website are denominated in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST), unless stated otherwise.
Tuff Mounts reserves the right to change product pricing at our discretion, without prior notice. Pricing adjustments may result from changes in manufacturing costs, supplier rates, freight charges, or currency fluctuations. These changes will be reflected promptly on our website.
We strive to ensure pricing accuracy and transparency, but in the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel or adjust any affected orders prior to fulfillment

All transactions are processed using encrypted payment gateways to ensure security and confidentiality. Customers selecting Direct Bank Transfer must ensure that payment is completed before an order is dispatched. Delays may occur if payment confirmation is pending.
By choosing any of the above methods, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions of each respective payment provider. Tuff Mounts reserves the right to update or modify accepted payment methods without prior notice.
Important Note
Orders will only be processed and dispatched once full payment has been received and cleared by Tuff Mounts. This policy applies to all purchase channels, including website, email, phone, and in-person transactions.
Failure to complete payment prior to processing may result in delays or cancellation of the order.
If an individual arrangement or prior agreement has been made with Tuff Mounts, alternate payment terms may apply.
8. Customer Service Policy
At Tuff Mounts, we are committed to providing responsive and reliable customer service. In the event that a product ordered is unavailable or experiences a delay in delivery, our team will notify the customer within 2 working days of the order being placed. Notification may include estimated restock timelines, alternative product options, or revised delivery schedules.

9. Shipping Policy
Standard Domestic Shipping
Orders shipped via regular post within Australia typically arrive within 6 business days. Delivery times may vary based on location and public holidays.
Express Domestic Shipping
Express shipping is available and follows Australia Post regulations, typically arriving within 2–3 business days. Next-business-day delivery may be possible depending on the destination.
Road Freight Shipping
Where preferred or required, orders may be shipped via road freight, handled by private postal service companies. This option may incur additional charges, including:

We strive to minimize freight costs wherever possible and recommend providing a valid business address to help reduce excess charges.
Oversized Shipping
If an order exceeds the size limitations permitted by Australia Post, we will arrange delivery through private freight/shipping providers, which may also involve the fees noted above.
International Shipping
Customers outside Australia must contact Tuff Mounts prior to placing an order to confirm our ability to deliver to their country. Express international shipping follows Australian postal regulations and is subject to destination-based delivery times and customs processing.

International Freight Terms
For all international orders, customers are required to contact our sales team at sales@tuffmounts.com.au prior to purchase to confirm accurate and up-to-date freight costs.
Quotes provided are typically valid for 3–5 days from the time of issuance. Due to fluctuations in international shipping rates, fuel surcharges, and courier service fees, freight costs may change without prior notice.
Tuff Mounts reserves the right to adjust shipping prices at any time, even after a quote has been given, unless the transaction has been completed within the quoted period.
Applicability & Freight Adjustments
This shipping policy applies to all products, unless weight and dimensions have been adjusted specifically for freight considerations in certain regions. Due to variability in shipping expenses, Tuff Mounts reserves the right to update shipping costs at any time without prior notice.
No-Signature / Safe Drop Delivery Responsibility
If a customer provides written instructions at the time of placing an order—such as requesting delivery to be left at the front door, in a safe place, without requiring a signature, or similar terms, the customer acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for the shipment once it has been marked as delivered by the courier. Tuff Mounts shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or misplacement of the goods after delivery confirmation in the absence of a recipient’s signature.
Customers choosing this option do so at their own risk and waive any claims against Tuff Mounts for compensation or replacement due to issues arising from unattended deliveries.
Uncollected or Returned Shipments
If a product shipped to the customer is returned to Tuff Mounts due to being uncollected, refused, or undeliverable at the designated collection point or incorrect address provided, the customer is responsible for all associated costs.

Tuff Mounts will not be liable for any freight, handling, or redelivery expenses in such cases.

The customer must arrange and pay for re-delivery or alternate shipment if the order is to be dispatched again.

Storage or restocking fees may apply if the parcel remains unclaimed for an extended period.
Customers are advised to monitor tracking notifications and ensure timely pickup to avoid delays or additional charges.
Important Delivery Notice
Tuff Mounts takes great care in packing and dispatching orders accurately. However, if an incorrect item is delivered or an order arrives incomplete, the customer must notify us within 12 months from the original purchase date on the invoice.
Failure to report such issues within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of any claim, and Tuff Mounts will not be held responsible for replacing, refunding, or resolving the matter beyond the warranty or return period.
Customers are responsible for verifying their order upon receipt and retaining relevant documentation to assist with any future inquiries.
10. Returns & Refunds
At Tuff Mounts, we are committed to providing quality products and service in accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) guidelines:
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. However, if an item has a major fault or problem, we will offer you the choice of a
Refund of store credit or exchange, depending on the individual circumstances.
Refund Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a refund, all of the following conditions must be met:

You provide a valid proof of purchase or original invoice.

The item is a genuine Muscle Garage / Tuff Mounts product.

The item was purchased directly from Muscle Garage / Tuff Mounts.

You have contacted us to obtain return authorisation prior to returning the

The item is returned and received by us within 30 days of the date on the original invoice.

The item is in its original, sealed, and unopened packaging.

The item and packaging are undamaged. Any damage will incur a $50 fee per item.

You accept that the refund applies to the item cost only. Freight charges are non-refundable.

Returning of item(s) is at your own risk and expense.

There is a 15% restocking Fee on Tuff Mounts manufactured products & a 25% Restocking fee on in stock “ordered in” Items.

Non-stoked “Order in” Items are Non-Returnable.

Refunds will be issued as store credit only.
If the above refund criteria are not fully met, or if the return is due to a change
of mind, incorrect item ordered, or a request for exchange, the following
conditions apply:

A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Any damaged items will incur a minimum $50 fee per item.

For exchanges, the customer is responsible for all freight costs associated with sending and receiving the exchanged item. Payment is required prior to the exchange item being shipped.

Refunds will be issued as store credit only.
Post-Shipment Notice
Once an order has been shipped or dispatched, any requests to modify, cancel, or exchange the order due to change of mind or incorrect item selection will be subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Unauthorised Returns & Discretionary Acceptance

Discretion to Accept or Reject Returns
Tuff Mounts reserves the right to accept or reject any returned items that arrive at our facility without prior authorisation or approved return request. Return shipments sent without proper communication and confirmation may not be eligible for inspection, refund, exchange, or warranty processing.

No Automatic Entitlement to Refund
The arrival of an item at our facility does not entitle the customer to a refund, exchange, or claim processing. Approval for any remedy will be evaluated in accordance with our published Returns & Refunds Policy and Warranty Terms, and acceptance of delivery does not constitute approval of return.

Tuff Mounts will notify the customer via the contact information provided with the shipment.

Rejected items not collected within 30 days of notice may be disposed of or returned at the customer’s expense.

Re-delivery fees will apply if return shipping is requested.

Communication Requirement
Customers must contact Tuff Mounts via official support channels prior to sending any item for return, refund, or warranty claim. Doing so helps avoid unnecessary delays, rejection of claims, or loss of goods.

This policy is binding for all customer types, including retail customers, trade account holders, and authorised dealers. Regardless of purchase channel or relationship level, all returns, exchanges, and refund requests must comply with the Terms outlined in this document.
Returns Policy – AfterPay Purchases
Purchases made using AfterPay are not eligible for refunds under our standard returns policy. Items purchased through AfterPay may only be exchanged at the sole discretion of Tuff Mounts.
Exchange requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must meet our product condition standards. Tuff Mounts reserves the right to approve or decline any exchange initiated for AfterPay orders.
Customers are encouraged to confirm suitability and specifications before completing payment via AfterPay. By using this payment method, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
11. Warranty & Faulty Items
Tuff Mounts / Muscle Garage products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of original purchase. This warranty applies exclusively to items manufactured entirely by Tuff Mounts / Muscle Garage and used strictly in accordance with our published Warranty Terms.
Tuff Mounts / Muscle Garage will repair or replace—free of charge—any product found to have defective workmanship or materials, provided it was installed and used in accordance with our guidelines.

Products or components manufactured by third parties, for which the original manufacturer’s warranty applies.

Second-hand components or equipment, regardless of condition at time of resale.

Items subjected to:

Motorsport or competition use (e.g. racing, track events)

Illegal activity

Neglect, misuse, or breach of Warranty Terms, including incorrect installation or unauthorized modifications.
This warranty is rendered null and void if the product shows signs of unauthorised alteration or application outside intended use.
Vehicle Application
Warranty applies strictly to use on a registered motor vehicle under normal road conditions. Off-road use, racing, or extreme performance applications are excluded.
Second-Hand & Modified Products
No warranty applies to:

Second-hand components or equipment,
-
Products that have been altered in any way from the manufacturer’s original specifications.
Warranty Claim Condition
Warranty claims must be lodged through the original place of purchase—whether directly with Tuff Mounts or via an authorised dealer. This ensures accurate record-keeping and streamlined service.
In cases where the original business or dealer is no longer trading or unavailable, customers may contact Tuff Mounts directly to arrange an alternative assessment and claims process.
Documentation confirming the original purchase will be required before proceeding.
To assist with claim assessment, Tuff Mounts may require clear photographs of the item showing any damage, faults, or breakage before a return is authorised or processed.
If Tuff Mounts determines that the item in question must be returned for inspection or evaluation:

The approved return item must arrive at our warehouse within 30 calendar days from the date of written claim approval.

The customer is responsible for all return freight costs, including packaging and safe transport of the item.

Tuff Mounts reserves the right to reject claims or withhold assessment for items that arrive outside of the approved window or without adequate documentation.
Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the warranty claim being declined or voided.
Intellectual Property Safeguard
Tuff Mounts reserves the right to reject any return where it determines that its intellectual property has been compromised (including but not limited to copying, reverse engineering, or misrepresentation).
Important Note
Warranty coverage does not apply to products—whether opened or unopened—that were purchased more than 12 months prior, even if unused. The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase, and claims must be submitted within that timeframe by the original purchaser.
Products outside this window are not eligible for repair, replacement, or refund under our standard warranty terms.
Faulty Item
If you believe that your item is faulty or defective, you may be eligible for a replacement under the terms of Muscle Garage/ Tuff Mounts’ warranty provided with your purchase or in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Installation & Removal Costs Disclaimer
Tuff Mounts shall not be held liable for any costs associated with the installation, removal, or re-installation of our products under any circumstances, including but not limited to faulty items, incorrect orders, or customer dissatisfaction. The responsibility for these expenses’ rests solely with the customer.
Customers are advised to verify product specifications and compatibility prior to purchase. Any issues relating to product faults or errors in order fulfillment will be handled in accordance with our warranty and returns policy, but will not include reimbursement for labour or related service fees.
Third-Party Components & Services
We are not liable for issues arising from:
